College Republicans announce Coming Out Conservative Week

The week of September 29 to October 3 will be an opportunity for conservative students all over Indiana to announce their political affiliation.

Indiana University College Republicans will be participating in this event through various activities throughout the week.

Monday will be Free Speech Day, where CR's will set themselves in opposition to the thought police which dominate the Administration. CR's will run a chalk and flyer campaign to announce the week's events. This day will be to promote free expression of ideas.

Tuesday will be the Right To Bear Arms Day. Conservative students will be encouraged to bare their arms and carry squirt guns as a symbol of support for Second Amendment privileges. So roll up your sleeves and drench your neighbor!

Wednesday will be Students' Park Day, where students can gather at the Well House to talk, hang out, and play Euchre! Meet at 5:00 p.m. Business casual dress and deodorant required.

Thursday will be Tax Freedom Day, where students are encouraged to wear green clothing, or a "deficit spending awareness ribbon" made out of a dollar bill. To show you care even MORE about reducing the tax burden and deficit, wear a higher denomination.

Friday will be the culmination of the week, Bill Of Rights Day. Coinciding with the Homecoming Parade, College Republicans and Monroe County Republicans will join in a display of unity and pride where we will make a public proclamation of our Coming Out Conservative. We will meet in front of Wilkie Quad at 4:00 by the BIG elephant. You can't miss it! (Parade starts at 5:30 P.M.)

So between September 29 and October 3, Come Out Conservative with College Republicans. We promise we'll still love you, even if no one else on campus does.
